Frequently asked questions

How often should I train and do I need you for every session?

Generally I would recommend most people train 3-5 times a week. There are exceptions though, for example your level of health and fitness or what you are training for may change this. As for training with a Personal Trainer, that completely depends on you, how experienced your are with training, levels of motivation, finances etc, weigh them all up and then you can decide. I have some clients who train with me 3-5 times a week, and others once every 2-4 weeks. I will work around you.

How do I pay for my sessions?

You can pay upfront or we can talk about a payment plan for some of the bigger packages I offer. For My Weigh it is payment upfront through the website.

What equipment do I need?

I have an ever increasing collection of equipment I use with my clients, however if you are training with me online and would like to do more than body weight exercises then I would recommend acquiring some equipment which I am more than happy to talk you through and advise on.

The simple answer to this is unless you are a qualified nutritionist you are not allowed to prescribe meal plans to clients. So if you have or have had a trainer who has done this for you, you may want to check they are legally qualified to. I am a qualified nutrition advisor, therefore, I am allowed to and do offer advice to my clients about nutrition, I can advise you on what foods to eat but no meal plans I'm afraid. My My Weigh course looks to educate you on the basics of nutrition and healthy eating as well as much more.

Do I have to join a gym to train with you?

No. I am a mobile and online Personal Trainer. I train clients outside, at homes or online so you do not require a gym membership for my services.
