A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Hello, I’m Graeme, a passionate Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advisor. I have over the years acquired many qualifications and skills that have given me the tools required to help my clients achieve their fitness goals. I have trained hundreds of clients, from professional sportsmen to people who have never trained before, I've worked with amputees and many different health conditions.
Leaving university in 2006 I have worked in the sporting industry as a football coach with Gloucester School of Excellence, Gloucester City Ladies and Arsenal Soccer Schools, in the entertainment and leisure industry as a manager of a pub and bookmakers too. Along with my qualifications, these jobs, as varied as they may sound are all people orientated, offering different skills and experiences that are transferable to every client I train. But it wasn’t until 2009 I realised I wanted to be a Personal Trainer.
I took my first Personal Training position at the Fitness First gym in Poole back in October 2010 and stayed there for just over 10 years. In that time I had to build up a client base on more than one occasion. I suffered a broken leg playing football forcing me to take 7 months off to recover. On my return I built up my business up to 50+ sessions a week, was an ambassador for Fitness First dealing with the media and contributing to many articles and blogs and I created my own weight loss, health and wellbeing course called “My Weigh”.
Over a decade after starting out I now train clients locally, nationally and internationally (online) offering a range of services. I’ve seen people change physically through weight loss or muscle gain, postural improvements and injury rehabilitation, but I’ve also seen so many positive changes in peoples mental health through the power of exercise, healthy living and a lot of the time just being told you can. Confidence that was not there before, relationships that would not have happened, challenges completed that were just a dream and a positive mindset that doesn’t let the small things get you down.
It continues to be a privilege working with my clients and I’m looking forward to helping more people like you. I am a versatile trainer who focuses on YOU and YOUR goals. If you have a goal and need some guidance then I can help you be a fitter, happier, healthier you.
